We decided on a classic: pumpkin carving🎃!! We gathered in the old cafeteria on a Tuesday afternoon in October with lots of big pumpkins ready to become spooky Halloween decorations. Pumpkin carving is not as easy as it sounds. It takes a lot of strength to cut through the thick shell. Emptying the pumpkin wasn’t the most elegant thing to do, it was actually pretty chaotic and messy. Fortunately, we placed old news paper on the tables beforehand and cleaned everything afterwards to keep our school neat and tidy✨ Everyone carved their pumpkins eagerly, because there was a big prize to win for the best pumpkin carver – Halloween sweets of course! And there were even three of them. The winners were: Noah Scherer, Johanna Scherer and Lisa Syassen.
